A beautiful spot with fresh, high-quality, creative menu items. I had a yellowtail crudo with apricot, jalapeño, nasturtium flowers, & an olive-oil-based velouté sauce, paired with a house beer. Exquisite dish.

My friend and I came here for lunch during Dine L.A. on a Monday. Upon entering we asked for the Dine L.A. menu and were told it had ended. We got there at around 2:40pm and there was some confusion about the end time. Dine L.A. website said 3:00pm while The Rose said 2:30pm. After a brief chat with a manager, the host came back and said we were cleared to eat off of the Dine L.A. menu. We were seated on the outside patio which was nice. Chrissy was our server and she was excellent! She sold us on a few menu items and was very kind. I ordered the Burrata salad, the Oxtail Sope and Tres Leches cake for dessert. The salad was good and unique. I really enjoyed the crunch of the capers and how the flavor of the olives brightened up the salad. The Oxtail Sope was delicious!! I wasn't sure if it was that or the black beans that were served on the side that was spicy, but whatever it was, it gave the dish a kick! I will definitely go back for that. Lastly, the Tres Leches was basic. I wish I could say more but it wasn't very authentic in flavor. 5 stars for Chrissy!! Her service was immaculate!! I will be back to visit her and to eat the Sope!!

Such a chill spot! To start we had the ceviche mixto. Delicious, not too spicy and cooked perfectly. Steak and eggs were delicious. And we had a cinnamon roll for a little sweet treat. I highly recommend if you're in the area! I'm only doing 4 stars because of the benefits charge for employees. I think it's the responsibility of the employer, not patron. We did tip. The service as great!

I would consider this more of a nightlife spot than a restaurant. Sure, they serve food, and I think the plating is particularly pleasing. However, I felt the taste of the food, whether it be in restaurant or to go was lacking. - I didn't find the staff to be particularly kind or welcoming. However, the decor is spot on! It's super cute there and high energy.
